Belle Li is a Ph.D. candidate in Purdue University’s Learning Design and Technology program. Her research examines how generative AI reshapes learner agency, authenticity, and equity across learning contexts. She builds this agenda through learning analytics, mixed-methods inquiry, measurement, and design-based research, drawing on behavioral data and person-centered methods to understand how learners differ in their engagement with AI. Her work combines empirical research with design practice, including educational tools, project-based learning environments, course design, and public-facing academic communication.

This site brings together her research agenda, publications, teaching and mentoring experience, service, and selected design and development work. For collaboration, invited talks, or related questions, visitors can use the contact links on the site or the Ask Belle assistant.
